Mr. Trotter listens to his patients and more importantly understands how devastating and debilitating loss of hearing is and the impact on every day life. Mr. Trotter is very honest and upfront about any procedures, discomfort and likely outcomes. I have been particularly impressed with his insertion of a T-Tube in the ear which was carried out under local anaesthetic. In my opinion I have not found anything other than great care from Mr. Trotter and as a layman, I fail to understand how he could improve but I am sure Mr. Trotter will find a way.

After receiving questionable care from another care professional, Mr Trotter put both myself and my 11 year old son at ease and was very understanding. whilst carrying out a minor medical procedure, it was clear that my son was quite anxious and fund it quite painful. Mr Totter did his best to put him at ease, without being patronising, but still coming across as very caring and sympathetic. The advice and care he received was fabulous. Thank you Mr Trotter!

This was a return visit to see Matthew Trotter for a totally new problem. As before he was very thorough and listened to my problem and then carried out thorough checks. He almost diagnosed the problem without examining me and then on examination confirmed his diagnosis. He carried out a small procedure and removed debris from my ear drum and instantly I was able to hear again. He was gentle and caring and I had every faith in him and would not hesitate to contact again should I need ENT care.
